Wick Bar began on Mother's Day 2019, when our founder attended a candle-making experience with her daughter and left thinking, this could be so much more. Her daughter's challenge to "do it better" became the spark, and later that year, with a job change opening up new time, it became reality. What started in a Lancaster kitchen, testing fragrances and pouring candles, grew into Wick Bar: a space built to feel personal, creative, and welcoming.

At our core, we're guided by four values — creativity, connection, hospitality, and community. We want every guest to feel free to create something personal, to slow down and connect with the people they came with, and to feel genuinely welcomed the moment they walk in. And beyond our doors,we hope to help bring more warmth and togetherness to West Reading; supporting local, bringing neighbors together, and building community through shared creativity.
